The objective of this Standard is to provide organizations with a common, internationallyagreed approach to measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and removals.This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from ISO 14064-1:2006, Greenhouse gases – Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals .As this Standard is reproduced from an International Standard, the following applies:(a) Its number does not appear on each page of text and its identity is shown only on thecover and title page.(b) In the source text ‘this part of ISO 14064’ should read ‘this Australian Standard’.(c) A full point should be substituted for a comma when referring to a decimal marker.(d) Any French text on figures should be ignored.The term ‘informative’ has been used in this Standard to define the application of the annex towhich it applies.
