氷海域プロジェクトの生産施設関連技術課題 Technical Challenges Associated with the Development and Operation of Arctic Projects

現在、石油ガス開発業界では、探鉱開発のフロンティアともいえ、巨大な埋蔵量の期待できる氷海 域の開発が大きな柱の一つとなっているが、氷海域の海象、氷況は地域により大きく異なり、それ ぞれに特有の技術的困難さを有している。 国際石油開発帝石（株）にとっても氷海域開発は重要な課題であり、氷海域開発に於ける探鉱なら びに生産施設技術に関する特有の技術課題である氷況把握、構造物、Flow Assurance、Ice Management、HSE、Logistics等についての検討を行うこととしている。 過去には国内で数多くの氷海域の研究が実施され多くの知見を有しているものの、当社が氷海域開 発を実施するにあたり最も大きな課題は安全かつ効率的に巨大プロジェクトをマネージメントして いく点にあると認識している。今後、JOGMECをはじめ、関係機関との連携を取りつつ長期的視野 にたった対応を進める必要があると考えている。 本講演では当社が関係するArctic Projectを紹介するとともに、生産施設技術に関わる課題を説明す る。 Arctic oil and gas development is currently one of the promising opportunities in the hydrocarbon E&P sector for its tremendous potential in terms of reserves. However, the difficulties associated to sea and ice conditions represent a big challenge and, even more, vary from one region to another. INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) regards Arctic development as a subject of high importance and is continuously conducting research activities on the technical challenges associated to the exploration and production of Arctic projects, such as ice features, structure, flow assurance, ice management, HSE, logistics, etc. Despite having conducted abundant research in the field, the aim of safe and efficient management of large scale Arctic projects remains to be the biggest challenge. However, INPEX intends to keep looking for opportunities to make progress in this field in the long term in cooperation with JOGMEC and other related organizations. This presentation will introduce Arctic projects in which INPEX is involved, with particular attention to the technical challenges associated to the design and operation of production facilities.
