In the state of Andhra Pradesh it would be easy to get a recognition for the school if theapplication is made by a society and hence the first step is to Register a Society under applicable law (A. P. Societies Registration Act, 2001 );2. All application seeking recognition has to be made under the prescribed form beforeOctober 31 of every year;3. The following documents should be submitted to the office of the District Education Officer/Regional Joint Director as initiation of the processi. Covering Letter with list of documents enclosed;ii. Charter Documents of the society [Memorandum, Bye Laws and Certificate of Registration];iii. Application form in prescribed format;iv. Inspection fee;[Rs 10,000/- till 7 th Standard and Rs 20,000/- till 10 th Standard]v. Payment towards Endowment fund[In case of application for classes up to 7 th Standard then it has to be withNational Savings Certificates worth Rs 25,000/- and in case of classed up to10 th Standard it has to be with national savings certificate worth Rs 50,000/-]vi. Sketch and plan of the School Building;vii. Site plan of the building;viii. Structural soundness of the building;ix. Title Deed of the property in which the school building is located;x. Rental Agreement with registration;xi. Play ground particulars;xii. List of teachers appointed;xiii. No objection certificate from neighbouring school;xiv. Sanitary certificate;xv. Details pertaining to fixing of fire equipments;xvi. Details pertaining to zebra crossing mark on the roads near to school and theefforts taken by school in the regard;xvii. List of laboratory equipment;xix. List of games equipments;xx. Annual audit report of the society;xxi. Annual advertisement report;xxii. Resolution of the governing body of the society regarding fee and salarystructure of the teachers;xxiii. Details pertaining to formation and activity of parent teachers association;4. Application for recognition for classes till 7 th standard has to be made to the DistrictEducation Officer and Application for recognition till 10 th Standard has to be made RegionalJoint Director together with the above documents.5. Based on the application the Department will conduct an inspection through its InspectingOfficer to check the veracity of the claims made by the applicant. Inspecting Officer submitshis report with the District Education Officer for his approval.6. Before the culmination of the process the following will be sought by the authorities for itssatisfaction:1. No Objection for the police station;2. No Objection from Municipality of Hyderabad;3. No Objection from Fire Department;7.The period of recognition granted will be for a minimum period of 5 years [this may change]and the maximum period would be for 10 years.8. There will be yearly or more visit from the department to verify the functioning of the schooland the recognition can be reviewed on reasonable grounds for contravention of thoseaspects detailed above.9. The period for giving the recognition pursuant to the application would range from 3 monthsto 6 months in normal cases.
