You need to quickly migrate some bank data into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The Migrate Your Data tool leads you to where the data migration objects are predefined for SAP Best Practices. This tool is used for migrating from SAP or non-SAP systems into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Editions. 1. Access the Migrate Your Data tool. 2. Display the documentation for the conversion object. 3. Download and maintain the generated migration template. 4. Upload the source data Microsoft Excel file in the system. The Bank Data is now available in the SAP S/4HANA cloud system. © Copyright. All rights reserved. 1 Unit 3 Solution 1 Migrate your data Your company has started doing business in a new region. You need to quickly migrate some bank data into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The Migrate Your Data tool leads you to where the data migration objects are predefined for SAP Best Practices. This tool is used for migrating from SAP or non-SAP systems into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Editions. 1. Access the Migrate Your Data tool. a) Choose the Manage Your Solution app and start the Migrate Your Data tool. b) To add a new Migration Project, choose Create. c) Enter the Migration Project Name Migration ABC and choose Create. You see on the Migration Project Details screen the new migration project. Migration ABC is created. d) Select the migration object Bank link. e) On the Warning screen, choose OK. 2. Display the documentation for the conversion object. a) To display the documentation about the conversion object, choose Show. Purpose, definition, prerequisites and other information about the conversion object is displayed. b) To close the documentation, choose OK. 3. Download and maintain the generated migration template. a) Choose the Files tab. b) To download the generated migration template, choose Download Template. c) In the Download Template window, select BP Enterprise Management Cloud, then choose OK. The file downloads to the Download directory within your session. d) You can use Microsoft Excel to open the Source Data for Migration object. You may need to go to the desktop for Microsoft Windows and search the Microsoft Excel program. The file is called EN_BANK_MASTER. Rename it to EN_BANK_MASTER.xml, then open it using Microsoft Excel. e) Once opened, you can select the worksheet tab, Field List. This displays the description and metadata of the Bank Master fields. f) To define the Source Data for Migration spreadsheet, choose the Bank Master tab. g) Enter the data from the table for migration. Note that the first entry has the Bank country key China while the other entries already have the correct SAP ISO-code CN. 2 © Copyright. All rights reserved. Upload the source data Microsoft Excel file in the system. a) In the Migration Objects screen, on the File tab, select Upload File. b) Select Choose File and search for your file. Provide a short description. c) Choose Upload. d) There is now a new row in the table. Select the row and choose Activate. The status changes to Not Started (Active). The Bank Data is now available in the SAP S/4HANA cloud system. © Copyright. Create a new G/L account by copying an existing one for your company code 1010. Don’t forget the Financial Statement Version. Note: To execute this exercise, please assign business role General Ledger Accountant to your user. For best performance, remove any other business roles assigned except for Administrator SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR, and Configuration Expert Business Process Configuration (SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT). Remove the payment block and post the partial payment. a) Select the Journal Entry shown in the Open Items and select Edit. b) Select the first Journal entry item and remove the entry from Item Payment Block. c) Select Back to Journal Entry, save your changes, and select Back. d) Select Clear. e) Enter 1000 in the Allocated Amount field. f) Select Post. 26 © Copyright. Check how many line items the supplier has open now and what the total balance is for the supplier. a) On the SAP Fiori Launchpad Home, select Manage Supplier Line Items. b) In the Supplier filter field, enter your supplier/employee number and select Go. You see two items open, the invoice and the partial payment. No clearing has taken place. c) On the SAP Fiori Launchpad Home, select Display Supplier Balances. d) In the Supplier filter field, enter your supplier/employee number and Company Code 1010 and select Go. Youl see one item in the debit and one in the credit. The balance is a credit of 1000. © Copyright. The invoice amount will be discounted 2% if payed in the next 2 weeks by the customer. Unit 14 Solution 30 Extend Reports with Adapt UI Note: Follow these steps to prepare for the exercise. To get proper authorizations, access the Maintain Business Users app and assign to you user the following business role: SAP_BR_PROJ_MANAGE_COMM (Project Manager - Commercial Services). In the Customer Project Creation area, you need to rearrange some fields. Add another group and add a field. You can do this using the Adapt UI functionality. 1. Change the order of fields in the Create Customer Projects area. a) Select Create Customer Projects so that you are in the initial creation screen. b) In the top, left, corner of the screen select user profile. c) Select Adapt UI. This puts you in the UI Adaptation Mode. Here you can change the layout of the screen and what fields appear. d) Under the Customer Project group, select the Project ID field by clicking on it when the cursor arrow turns into crosshairs. Move this field so that it is underneath the Project Name field. e) When you have made this change, in the top right of the screen, select Transport. f) In the Select a transport window, choose Local Object. There is only one system available, so no transports can be performed. 2. Add a field to the Customer Project group. a) Move your cursor over the Customer Project text so that the crosshairs appear. Rightclick so that the context menu appears. Select Add Field. b) From the Available Fields window, select the City checkbox and choose Ok. The City field should now appear beneath the Description box. c) Move the new field so that it is between the Currency and Description fields. d) Once you have made this change, in the top right of the screen, select Transport. e) In the Select a transport window, choose Local Object. 3. Add a group. a) Right click to bring up the context menu and select Create Group. b) The text New Group appears. Rename this so that it says Assorted Fields. © Copyright. Select Region. d) Drag the city field from its current group and drop it into your new group. 4.
