Crank the flywheel until the piston in No.1 cylinder is at TDC and its exhaust and inlet valves overlap on cylinder No. 1. Note: No. 1 cylinder is closest to the flywheel.

A = 885812 Adjust the inlet valves for cylinders 3, 5 and 6 and the exhaust valves for cylinders 2, 4 and 6. Undo the locknut on the adjuster screw. Screw down the adjuster screw to reduce the play to zero. Put a protractor on the valve adjuster screw. Zero the protractor. Screw back the adjuster screw. Check the number of degrees in Specifications . Torque tighten the locknut according to the specifications with an open socket. Hold the adjusting screw still to prevent rotation while torque tightening. Loosen the lock nut on the piston adjustment screw. Screw down the adjustment screw until the clearance is zero. Screw back the Allen screw according according to Specifications . 6 Crank the flywheel until the exhaust and inlet valves overlap on cylinder 6. Special tools: 88800014 7

A = 885812 Adjust the inlet valves for cylinders 1, 2 and 4 and the exhaust valves for cylinders 1, 3 and 5 according to step 3. Special tools: 885812 8 Adjust the clearance for the JAK piston on cylinders 1, 3 and 5 according to step 9. Note: No. 1 cylinder is closest to the flywheel. 9
