LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF JOHN HALL of Greene County, Alabama September 15, 1869 Given to Charles Black By Imogene Springer Re: Will Book "D" pg 195 Greene County, Alabama Probate Office, County Courthouse, Eutaw, Ala. "The State of Alabama) Greene County) In the name of God Amen I, JOHN HALL being Sound in body and mind do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows 1st: Having heretofore given all of my Children Except my three youngest ones all of my Estate that I intend giving them 2nd: I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved wife ELIZABETH HALL during her natural life and widowhood my present homestead. Also all of the stock of Every Kind and description belonging on and a bought the place 3rd: After my death if there should be any Money on hand after my funeral expenses is paid I wish it to go to the Support of my family 4th: After the death of my wife I wish and devise all of my property of Every kind and description Sold Except a small piece of ground I have enclosed with Iron Piling which I reserve for my family Grave Yard 5th: the proceeds of the Sale of My Estate After all Expenses is paid is to be equal devided between my three youngest children to wit: JOHN HALL, LEONIDAS HALL, CORNELIUS E. HARDY and WELTHA TAYLOR 6th: It is my wish and desire that no part of My Estate be sold or removed off of the place before the death of my wife ELIZABETH As I wish her to enjoy everything I leave behind 7th: I give and bequeath to my son JOSEPH W. HALL my Portrait 8th: I do hereby appoint my two sons JOSEPH W. HALL and JOHN HALL Executors of this my Last Will and Testament without given bond and Security In testimony where of I have here unto Set my hand and Seal this the 15th of September 1869.
