This would include thefollowing objects for conversion: ã Items ã Item Revisions ã Item Categories ã Customer Items Pre-Requisites ã The Units of Measures should be defined in the system if notalready seeded through Oracle. ã The Source data should be provided by Cretex in a flat file forloading to Oracle ã The Customers should be defined before converting CustomerItems. Assumptions The item attributes that cannot be provided by the source system wouldbe assumed to be defaulted in Oracle. This situation can arise is thesource system does not store the related data that Oracle requires. Forexample, if planning data is not provided during conversion the all theitems would default to not planned and thatmay affect the Planningprocess in Oracle.Hence every effort should be made to extract and provide data forimproving the quality of conversion. Scope and Application All the item data provided by TCM and Profit Key for conversion would bein Scope. Audience This document is intended for the Cretex Core team and the Businessleads.
