She moved to Tulsa in the ‘80s to attend Rhema Bible School. She served as the outreach pastor for the Family Prayer Center since the ‘90s to the present. She’s survived by her sister, Margaret Hays; her son, R. Steven Carpenter and wife, Brenda; four grandchildren, Charlie and wife, Jamie, Stephanie, Christina, and John; and four great-grandchildren, Amorous, Jolie, Cayden, and Connor. John Sibole | John Sibole passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. Born May 29, 1922 in Tulsa, OK. He attended Osage, Lee, Horace Mann and Central High School. Upon High School graduation three comrades and he fulfilled a boyhood dream. They built a boat, traveled on the Arkansas and Mississippi from Tulsa to New Orleans—a 1200 mile trip in 28 days. During WWII he was a 2nd Lt. Bombardier. Following the war, he met Lois Larsen at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. After graduation, they were married in 1949. He worked for The Williams Companies in Human Resources for 33 years. He was the Choir Director at First Lutheran Church and also directed the Area Lutheran MESSIAH Presentation for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVonne Vivian “Pat” Seibert Kitchell and his love of the past 18 years, Mary Frances Cantrell. He is survived by his brother, Lloyd Cliford Kitchell and his wife, Bonnie of Midwest City, OK; extended family and many friends. Ben grew up and attended school in Shawnee and served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. Born August 31, 1923 in McAlester, OK to Rufus Edward and Beulah Rose (Harp) Munn, Jr. She was a member of Park Plaza Church of Christ. Eula’s life was centered around family, friends, and church activities. As a homemaker raising her children, she was always ready to provide a meal to families in need. As well as being an excellent cook, she was also an excellent seamstress who made all the clothes for her daughters. She loved entertaining and was known for her gift of hospitality. She and Leman particularly enjoyed hosting and encouraging young families who came into their lives through church. She will be remembered as one who was there to welcome members and visitors as they arrived on Sundays. Over the years she worked occasionally as a receptionist/typist in her husband’s architectural firm.
