Urosevic (Chief Executive) on THE BUSINESS The Master Licensee will be granted the rights to operate and develop the business in their country as either a franchise or corporate operation. If the business is to be developed as a franchise business, the Master Licensee will be responsible for the recruitment, training and support of individual franchisees. The operation of the business will involve: Creating and developing a company owned operation Establishing suitable head office premises to accommodate the personnel required to efficiently implement and administer the business and for interviewing of potential franchisees The implementation of an effective marketing programme to generate enquiries from prospective franchisees The selection and appointment of suitable franchisees The training of new franchisees The on-going supply of consumables The provision of on-going support and guidance to franchisees and the provision of a maintenance/servicing facility The business can be run successfully as a corporate operation. It is envisaged that the Master Licence holder will develop the country via a sub franchise network, although company owned operations can be extremely profitable and are encouraged. The Management Team Assuming that the Master Licensee will be 'hands-on' running the business, he should only need a small but experienced team to manage the network, operating from a medium sized good image office. It is essential however that one of the team members or partners can demonstrate a successful track record in franchise recruitment (or must be willing to recruit a appropriate employee), if franchising is the chosen route. The Rewards The business is structured to provide the Master Licensee with the opportunity to return rapid and substantial revenue from the initial granting of individual franchisees. In addition, on-going income is generated from monthly royalties or via the corporate route. THE PACKAGE You will need to be an experienced business developer with, dependant on the market potential of the Master Licence territory, funding from GBP 75,000, and a total commitment to develop either a corporate business within the territory or a network of professional, fully trained franchisees. The implementation of the Master Licence can be done in one of two ways: 1. A pilot option based on a man and van operation within an agreed area of the territory as a trial prior to full implementation of the Master Franchise. The pilot scheme will run for a period of 12 months. This may however be shortened if thought appropriate by the Licensee. Upon completion of the pilot scheme, there will be a phased implementation to a full Master Licence operation with the price and conditions as discussed and agreed prior to the start of the pilot scheme. The investment for the pilot is only 50% of the agreed full Master price, with the balance payable at the point of moving to full Master. 2. Full Master from the start. This option enables you to take immediate and permanent ownership of a man & van territory but also enables you to roll out the country as a full Master. The investment for the Full Master start option is also only 50% of the agreed full Master price, with the balance payable out of the development and growth of the business on a shared retention basis The financial details for each country are available upon request. Training 2 weeks in the UK to include residential training, in-field training with a franchisee and time spent at our factory. 1 week in your country giving support and assistance in business development. A full equipment package will be provided with the pilot license. Prior to commencing recruitment of sub-franchisees there will be an additional training programme to be held in the UK covering all aspects of this aspect of the Master Licence. This will include if appropriate franchise selection, recruitment and training. There will be a second full equipment package supplied as part of the Licence at this point. Or a reduction to get a tame Franchisee onboard. No transport costs have been included as it is assumed these will be passed on net to the Franchisees No retention has been applied to cover spares sales and additional machine sales to existing Franchisees. Suggest 10% extra Franchise term to be 5 years plus 5 years Suggest you create a P & L covering the trial 6 months as a pre launch cost then the post launch P & L as enclosed To estimate the number of areas I suggest you base it on 300 prospective kitchens per Franchisee (UK model) Based on item h, 1st 10 Franchisees gives you a major return towards your start up & License fee At 10 Franchisees monthly income should be in excess of 3,700 per month plus the retention on sales / resales etc If oil prices in your country are similar to the UK, (circa 1.00 per liter), then the basic charge rate required should make you very competitive. No provision for Finance has been included as the source is unknown, and we suggest that the investment could be realised on a resale plus pro The above and enclosed data is supplied in good faith as a guide only to creating a basic P & L for further discussion.
