The northernmost University of Technology in Scandinavia World-class research and education ARMS 2015 Advances in Reliability, Maintenance and Safety June 1- 4, 2015 Lulea University of Technology Luleå-Sweden ICRESH 2015 International Conference on Reliability, Safety and Hazard Announcement and Call for Papers ICRESH-ARMS Conference 2015 Luleå University of Technology in Sweden and the Society for Reliability and Safety (SRESA) are pleased to announce the joint International Conference ICRESH-ARMS 2015 to be held at Luleå University of Technology in Luleå, Sweden, during June 1 – 4, 2015. ARMS is a bi-annual event that deals with advances in the field of Reliability, Maintainability and Safety Engineering with the special focus on aviation, railway, mining, energy, and process industries. It also provides an opportunity for sharing experiences and networking across industries, academia and other R&D stakeholders in the Nordic countries. ICRESH is held every five years. This is the third conference in the ICRESH series of Conferences. The ICRESH-2005 and ICRESH-2010 were held in December 1 – 3, 2005 and December 14 – 16, 2010 respectively, as one of the largest international events in the area of Reliability and Safety in Mumbai. The major features of the joint ICRESH-ARMS 2015 program are pre-conference tutorials/workshops, technical programs, plenary sessions, and technical exhibitions. Apart from LTU and SRESA, Luleå Railway research Center, (JVTC), Center for Maintenance and Industrial Services (C-MIS), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre- Mumbai and Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) - University of Maryland, USA are also organizing partners for ICRESH-ARMS 2015. Conference topics include but not limited to: RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) modeling and analysis, Infrastructure RAMS modeling and simulation, Design for maintenance, Design-out maintenance, Reliability and production assurance, Risk analysis and management, Risk-based maintenance, System safety and security assessment, Probabilistic safety assessment, Condition monitoring and measurement techniques, Structural reliability modeling, Physics of failure, Diagnostics, Prognostics and health management, Remaining useful life modeling, Uncertainty modeling and evaluation, Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), Maintenance modeling and optimization, Maintenance performance measurement and management, Warranty analysis, Maintenance and lease contract, Performance-based maintenance, Quality engineering and assurance, Software reliability, Big data management, Information logistic, Distributed data modeling and processing, Information assurance, Data quality, Dependability and sustainability, Human factors and human reliability. Broad areas of the conference includes but are not limited to: Railway, Space and aviation, Power generation (Nuclear, hydropower, etc.), City transport, Mining machinery, Oil and gas, Chemical and refinery, Energy, Telecommunication, Structural systems, Electronics and digital products, Software products, and Off-shore operations.
